IDE to Secure Digital?

I know there are adapters that allow you to plug memory cards into an IDE
port. It's transparent to the operating system so it shows up as a drive in
My Computer.

Are there any that do the reverse?

I'd like to take a small IDE or SATA drive and plug it into an SD slot.

No

You'd need *power* to run the drive

Your best bet would be a self-powered USB enclosure with a laptop drive
inside

I never said anything about power. I just need to convert the IDE port into
SD. The power is a separate thing and would be modified to run off something
else.

So, if you recommend a USB enclosure, then I would need USB to SD adapter if
one exists, to plug the USB cable coming out of the enclosure into the SD
slot of something else.

What I have is a small video game system.. I'd modify into a different case
and to use a larger LCD screen. It can be expanded with an SD card, but it
would be nice to be able to use a small laptop hard drive instead.
