Ide harddisk or sata-harddisk

harddisk problem

hi,
I have a question:
At the moment i have 2 harddisks:
1. sata harddisk 7200 rpm 180gb
2. Ide harddisk 7200 rpm 80 gb

which one should i use for:
- saving my Files, such as installation files, or movies or music or ...
- installing/running windows with all the installed programms

Use 1 for windows & 2 for music/films

Yeah SATA for Windows and IDE for file storage.

I agree, best to use SATA for operating system.

Just a shame the sizes aren't round the other way though

you wont really see that much difference, but the os should definately be on sata
