are there any apps to create, test, and debug xhtml apps for cell phones ?

If you'll search the various manufacturers web sites, some have special
developer's sites that offer many different free apps. Registration is
usually required. I'll give you the Cingular Developer's network URL. It
offers developer's tools, forums, etc. Registration is required to use
it. See http://developer.cingular.com/developer/ . Good luck.

thats a start, thanks. the few references i did find, some (such as
verizon) no longer have them available for free (besides the registration)
