IDE devices showing as SCSI in Device Manager

On my recent (first) homebuilt I just noticed that when I go into device
manager (Windows XP Pro, control panel -> system -> device manager) and look
at my Disk drive and CD drive, I see the following:

Disk Drives
Maxtor 6 Y120PO SCSI Disk Drive
DVD/CD-ROM
Lite-on DVD+RW LDW-401S SCSI Cd rom device

These are E-IDE devices each attached to an IDE bus on my Shuttle AN35N
Ultra. Anybody know why are they showing up as SCSI devices?

It's an XP thing, not a problem.
