The desktop icons on my netbook are very small. Can I increase their size?

Right click on an empty area on the desktop then click on Properties.
At the Display Properties window click on the Appearance tab then click
on the Advanced button, this will open the Advanced Appearance window.
In the Item box highlight the Icon item and you will be able to change
the size there.

Thank you John. I would never have found that. My netbook is now easier to
use.

There is also a more generic answer to your question. Click Start, then
Help, then type the words icon size. This will direct you to the
facility that lets you change your display settings. And, of course, you can
get help on numerous other topics by using this method.
