icwconn1.exe error

I recently got a used computer, formatted the hard drive
and reinstalled 2000 pro with all drivers, etc.

I have 2 other computers in my network and have cable
connection. When I open IE to get to the internet, the

Internet Connection Wizard

pops up. I click indicate on the first 2 pages that I
connect through a LAN, and when it comes to the
Configuration page (page 3), I click "Automatic
discovery", and the wizard ends up closing with an

icwconn1.exe error.

My version on IE is 5.0. I have installed the 6.0 SP1,
and it still does it. Nothing on the support site helped
out. Anyone have any suggestions?
