ICS giving me a hassle!

I am using ICS on my host computer and 2 other computers are connected via an
Encore 8port mini-hub. Internet works great on all computers. However the
internet game I like to play does not! I've added the file name, ip adress,
and port numbers (3 of them) that the game's servers use but it still wont
work. B4 i went to ics i used a router and the game worked fine! But after
switching because I wanted to use a vpn to access my computer at work (for
backup) the game gives me a socket 10060 error. Is there any way to resolve
this problem? Can I use a router and somehow setup a vpn? Any advice would
be greatly appreciated

Depends on your type of VPN:
Microsoft VPN uses PPTP (usually). Most routers have an option to enable
PPTP pass-through.
Cisco VPN client uses IPSEC. That usually works by default with no changes
to the router.
Never worked with a L2TP VPN, so no comment.
