ICS and Firewall Services missing

My ICS service is missing from service.msc list, hence I cannot also use
Windows Firewall. This is also preventing me from sharing my internet
conection on LAN, please suggest.

System says Windows found unidentified error Firewall services cannot be
displayed.

What can be the reasons and how to solve it.. Can it be done by editing the
registry manually..??

"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall
settings" error, try:
Start>Run regsvr32 hnetcfg.dll [enter]
