I'm sticking with Trillian

Compared to Miranda IM even Trillian is bloatware in my opinion. Too bad
all my friends now are using Skype. I hate programs that talk even if it's
my friends talking through them. Shut up already! :)

I'm sticking with Trillian

Is there any impetus to actually download ICQ and use it as opposed to the
available alternatives?

Skype is ok, but it is limited and to be honest, trillian do everything
I want. If I did not have trillian, then I woulve to run Aim, Yahoo and
MSN on my computer at the same time. usinf Sky would also have me
running another bit of software on my computer.

Trillian have saved me pounds, because can talk to people I know in the
U.s, without using the telephone and also my friends in this country.

Nope.

Not when miranda is so good.

i agree unless one wants to use AIM 5.9 instead of ICQ to talk to your
friends on the ICQ network, just set your name to your ICQ # instead of
your AIM username.

What is the first hit you get on Google when you search for Miranda?

Map of Miranda del Castañar

The Miranda instand messager is the second one, but their web site is
comming up with "The server is undergoing maintenance. Please check back
later." I will ghave a look when I come home from work.
I doubt I will change from Tirllian, but I will have a look.

Miranda's smaller and tidier and allows a lot of customization, but Trillian
(which, I admit, I've not used in a couple of years) is easy enough. Both
have advantages.

I have had a look, but it do not offer what Trillian offers. I can now
use voice with Trillian, which Miranda do not allow.
