I just uninstall a program and ask it to remove everything pertaining to that
software that I justed installed. As I was looking at my screen, I could
still see the software icon. I clicked on it and selected delete to remove it
from ym desktop. To my surprise, it can't removed as it cannot located the
file or path in order to remove it? No duh....it been removed completely so
why does it still needs the file path? My questions is: Is there a way
around this or do I have to installed the software again so I can delete the
icons and then uninstall the program entirely?
I don't want to be seeing these icons on my desktop for years to come
knowing that these icon are not working when clicking on it.....Your help is
apprecaited...

Even after you restarted the system and tried to delete again the icons
still would not? Have you tried rebooting in to Safe Mode and attempt the
delete again?
