how do i reduce the icon size in the taskbar? downloaded
nvidia driver 45.23 and it inlarged all my icons.

xp home

no support at nvidia.

Hi,

See if this helps:

Right click the Desktop/Properties/Appearance/Advanced.
Under the Item drop box choose Caption Buttons and change the number by
one, ok your way out, then rest to 25.

And/or reset your default to the XP Theme.

changed it to 24, the screen went dark, the icons didn't
change size, but maybe it will on reboot? been to kellys
didn't find anything there. thanks for reply.

I am really sure what all the update changed. Other than that check your
settings here, for normal default it should read: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\
MinWidth = -2310

Or use the undo edit on line 97

thanks kelly, i did what you said in your first reply,
reduce the number from 25 to 22, it seemed to help with
the icon problem, course there are a few other caused by
the download. all i saw at kellys korner were scripts,
don't know what they do. i'll damage something if i go
into the registry.
