icons without descriptions?

is it possible to get rid of the "my computer", "recycle
bin" and so on from appearing under icons on the desktop?
I bought object desktop from stardock, and with all the
millions of possible customizations that ive yet to even
begin to understand, i was sure that it wouldve been an
option. Is there any way to do it through regedit??

Text can not be deleted. Live with it.

It's "you're kidding" not "your kidding". Go back
to "your" school. Learn something.

Live with the text and get on with "your" life.

Actually, you can get rid of the text. Go to the following site ...

.... and run the fix. Then, just type a space in the desired icon box on the
menu which appears, follow the instrucitons, and the icon text will be gone.
