Icons not clickable anymore!

Hello. Suddenly my icons are not clickable anymore to
launch software programs. Now I have to go into My
Computer to find the program, then click there. When I
click on icons, they just turn transparent (like when
they are selected) but the software does not load. Any
ideas on how to fix this?

Right click on the icon(s) and select "properties". Check
that there is a path or the correct path to the
application "exe". Also is your system set up to "single"
click or "double" click to start\open programs?
