Icons in Windows Mail

When writing a message like I am writing this now, under the Subject there
is Post Type: Comment, Question, Suggestion. On the list of messages to
scroll through, out of the 60,000 or so messages, only a few have icons
under the Post Type. Does that mean the messages with an icon come from
Windows Mail and the others don't?

I'm not sure what you are asking about, but there is a Vista mail newsgroup:
