Somehow icons that were under my user account log in, are now on my daughters
desktop. She's four and I want these icons off her desktop back onto my
desktop. Is there any way of sending an icon from one users desktop to
another? {all on same laptop}...Thank you...

Highlight all the icons you want to move, right click on one, select cut,
open C:\Documents and Settings\**** your user account name ****\Desktop and
paste them there. If you're logged into your account then you can just
navigate to there on her account (using the above method only insert her
name instead of your name of course) and just cut and then paste them right
on your desktop. One thing to double check, no, two... Check in the All
Users and the hidden Default User account to ensure that the icons aren't
there also unless, of course, you want them to be for all the users which it
seems likely you do not.

if the icons are on your daughters desktop and not yours;
open C:\documents & settings\daughtersusername\desktop
drag the appropriate icons to C:\documents & settings\yourusername\desktop
if the icons are in all users\desktop, drag the icons from there to your
desktop folder.
