Icons changed from original appearance on desktop

I have 3 icons on my desktop that have changed from their original .ai = Adobe Illustrator icon to a heart .. a die and a King with a card in the background... they open correctly however it is not correctly being shown as the ai icon that correlates with the program. I have run spy bot fixed all that stuff... have done restore pts ... just don't seem to want to change back to their native icon appearance... I do have other .ai files on desktop that display correctly... can anyone help

Download and install TweakUI for your windows version and then run repair
icons.
