Icons and .exe problem

Hi, I'm having major problem with XP, most of my icons and executables are
directing programs to Windows Media Player. I've tried 'Open With' but I've
had no luck even System Restore leads to Media Player. Any thoughts would be
greatly appreciated.

EXE File Association Fix (Restore default association for EXE files)

see if that helps and tell me too since I am curious

Yes, thank you very much. Downloaded the .exe and .lnk reg zips and imported
them into the registry. Problem sorted, thanks again.
