Using Word 2000, I created a macro to open Microsoft Equations 3.0 by using
Insert, Object, Microsoft Equations 3.0. If I select "Display as Icon" in
the Object window, the Microsoft Equations 3.0 icon is displayed. I would
like to use this icon as a button on my Drawing toolbar to run the macro. Is
this possible?

Thank you
Ron

You're reinventing the wheel. Open Tools | Customize and select the Commands
tab. Select the Insert category and scroll down to the Equation Editor
command. Select it and drag it to your Drawing toolbar. Clicking the button
will insert an equation object at the insertion point.

Hi Ron,

You should be able to do that with the method described at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CustomButtonImages.htm.
