Icon View

I cannot get the Icon View to "stick" when I access Event Viewer. When I go to
Event Viewer, it is in the Tile View. I can change this to Icon View OK, but
after shutting down and restarting the PC, (WIN XP HOME, SP1) it again apperars
in Tile View. I will admit this is not earth-shaking, but it annoys me that I
cannot figure out how to bend this to my will. This is the only window that does
this, all others remain where they were set. TIA, Dick M.

What do you mean exactly? I cannot see how to change the view in the
Event Viewer to "Icon" at all.

Sorry, I misspoke. I should say "Administrative Tools", rather than Event
Viewer. In Administrative Tools, When I choose Icon View, it subsequently
reverts to Tile View.

Viewer. In Administrative Tools, When I choose Icon View, it subsequently
reverts to Tile View.
