Icon view setting won't stick

Hi,

Lately, my folder view settings have lost
their 'stickiness'. I have some set to 'Icons' and after
a restart they revert to 'Tiled'.

How can I solve this annoying problem.

Many thanks,

meditek

Make sure you have enabled 'Remember each folder's view settings' on the
View tab of Tools>Folder Options.

There's a downloadable tweak at line 2, left, "increase folder view
size limit to 8000". (There is a folder number point beyond which the
registry can't remember view settings; this increases it.) The setting
is also available in TweakUI for XP.
