Icon Text

For some reason, as of yesterday, the text underneath the icons on an XP
Home desktop are solid blue instead of transparent. Some error about
active desktop popped up, but the user click okay before I got all of
the information. How can we correct this annoying problem? The
background was not changed.

I have a similar problem with my desktop background.
I can see the picture only for 1 or 2 seconds when I shut down.
when running, I have a blue background with the icons over it.
The only way to see a picture is to start the actice desktop.
when I go in the properties, desktop tab, the only button I can change is
the color.
The browse button and stretch/tile button are not selectable.
The picture file on the left are not selectable either.

Could you help me please.

PS: B.T.W. my name is also Daniel A. Martin so I will nickname myself
GypsyDriver )

Hi

I have the same problem but the support bulletin did not work. It might help
if I actually knew what an ACTIVE DESKTOP is and where a link to a web page
might be storted.

Thanks
