Not sure what happened here but when I have windows explorer in list view the
next column of icons is a full screen away. I have to click on the right
arrow just to see the next column. I've tried everything I can think of and
nothing is changing the spacing.

Any ideas :)

I had to do this in a folder today. ;-)

View | Arrange Icons By | Align to Grid

Align to Grid
[[Snap icons into place as designated by an invisible grid on
your screen. The grid keeps the icons aligned with each other. ]]

You can also select Auto Arrange.

AutoArrange
[[For the Desktop, arrange the icons in columns along the left side of your
screen.]]

[[For folders, arranges the icons in rows and columns.]]

Disregard my previous post. I missed the list view part.

Try using Details View. Details View lists everything in one long column,
you scroll down to see more.
