icon problem

After fixing the problem with my desktop background now it seemed like my
icons are highlighted i would like to change it back, the normal view but i
don't know how...please help me i don't want to mess it up.
 
By "highlighted", do you mean that the desktop icons and the text labels have
a box behind them?

Also, is your new desktop background light or dark colored? It just might be
the colors.

You could always do a System Restore to the day before you mucked up
your icons...

Start -- All Programs -- Accessories -- System Tools -- System Restore

i don't think is the color because i've tried with different backgrounds and
it remains the same. i think it still has some of the spyware.... :(
