iCalendar

When adding an iCalendar file to my Outlook 2007 Calendar, I notice that the
event pops up in a new calendar instead of adding it as an event on my main
calendar. Has anyone else had this problem. If so, any solutions?
Also when sharing my calendar with someone in another time zone, how do you
prevent the all day events from showing up as a two day event. For example if
I am in central time zone and the all day event is from 12am to 12am, it will
show up as 1am-1am for someone in the eastern time zone and thus it will show
as a two day event. Thanks

That's the way Outlook 2007's iCalendar sharing feature designed to work. If you want the dates in your own calendar, either drag them there or use File | Import and Export to import the iCalendar file.

ALso, Outlook has no concept of all-day events fixed at midnight for all time zones, so depending on how the event was written in the iCalendar file, the start and end dates may shift with the zone.
