To All:

Many thanks for all the replies regarding my freezing system. I was pretty
confident I had the hardware set up correctly. I therefore upped the RAM
voltage by 0.05 volts, and ditched the USB modem in favour for a Hardware
PCI modem.

Thankfully I have had few problems now...except the internet connection does
tend to disconnect regularly.

I am not too fussed as I am able to connect through another PC. And of
course, broadband is appearing in my part of sunny Cornwall from May!! So
here we go.

Anyway thanks again to you all who thought about this snag. I have put it
down to the incompatibility of my usb modem in a usb2 slot!!

The pc is now as it should be....... fast as F$&K!!!!
