'Ed Larking' posted part of a question in the subject line:
"I would like my desktop background to contain a text label. How do"
_____
If you meant to ask "How do I do it?", try the following.

Edit an image file to add the text, then use that image as your desktop
background.

More important than not typing your question in the subject line is to be
sure you type it in the body of the message. Although it doesn't need to be
in both places, I don't particularly care if it is. But if it's missing from
the body, it can easily be missed by people like me who normally hardly
glance at the subject line.
