lost registry due to this pest. have now got AVG Virus
detect and cure, but have lost registry. can anyone help
me get XP into safe mode/
 
Hi Vince,
When the computer is "booting up" tap the F8 key during the sequence and you
should get to the menu with option 3 being Safe Mode.
