In Outlook 2003, I would like to set up a task to which I have a document
attached. I think I should be able to link the task to the original location
of the document and so keep my files organized in my documents, rather than
as a bunch of attachments in some folder I cannot find. How can I do this?

That sounded good until I tried it. When I put a shortcut into the task and
then try to access the file, double clicking the shortcut brings up an
attachment security warning that allows me to either cancel or to save to
disk but NOT to open the file. Perhaps there is a way to avoid the warning?
