I want to keep some files private - they're mine!

I have nearly a GB of porn on my PC which I want to keep. It's all legal
before you ask...but here's my dilemma.

My PC came with a free health check from the retailer and they are now
offering a free makeover, a clean and check over, not that it needs one I
hasten to add. Do I simply copy my lovely, pleasurable, prized selection of
hunks then delete them? Or do they hide in what you "advanced" IT call a
cache (never understand what a "cache" is!) Does it hide in anywhere else
in the XP home megabrain?

Can you advise me (I have a partner, so don't suggest that I get one please)
I need sound IT advice that allows me to keep my porn and proudly take my
clean PC into the retailer and say "give this beast a makeover please"

Here are my stats by the way:

2ghz Pentium 4 processor, 37.25gb hard disk with 66% free (says 40gb on the
box though?!?), 512mb ram, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 video card, SoundMAX
Integrated Digital Audio sound card (could this be better, or is it my
speakers?)

I know I've posed many questions, but I have such faith in the ability of
this newsgroup. It's better than Cinderella's fairy godmother to me.

If it were me, I'd zip them into a couple of files that would fit one or
more CD-R's, copy them to the CD(s), delete them from the hard drive,
copy them back later.
