I want to keep"Encoding" as "USER Defined

In "VIEW" drop down section of the taskbar,under "Encoding",it is set at
"Western European".The encoding goes back to that when I reset or close my
browser.
I want the encoding to stay as "User Defined" for a certain webpage(Tweakers
Asylum).How do I adjust the encoding to stay what I want?

It's called the menu bar, not taskbar. You might want to post your
question to the experts in the Internet Explorer newsgroup. Here is a
