using word 2003 i want to add spaces at the beginning of a line of text so it
lines up with a certain word in the line above it but the space bar
wont work to do that. I don't want to have to do anything to complicated but
i need to know if I have to start using the enter key instead of letting the
text automatically wrap.

Strictly speaking, you can insert a line break (Shift+Enter) and then your
spaces or (better) a tab (with a specific tab stop set). But this may be a
situation where what you really want is a hanging indent. Do you know what
that is?
