I want to add an external usb mouse and keyboard to a Dell Inspiro

I can't figure out how to set up my laptop to accept an external mouse and
keyboard. Any suggestions?

You will need to access the BIOS/CMOS in order to activate the "external"
PS/2 connections (if they exists) or to activate 'Use legacy USB support".
