I use gmail for sending and receiving messages but want outlook 2007 to send
responses from web sites. How do I reconcile the two?

Like all e-mail client, Outlook connects to e-mail servers. Web sites
are not e-mail servers. You'll have to better explain just WHAT you
want to do.
