Hi,

After installing i-tunes 7.6 for the i-touch, i-tunes does not start and not
contact between i-touch and pc, only charging.
I have activated vbscript but no solution.
In the services i can't start smart card service because error 5 (no acces)
and also getting error on scarddlg.dll
I have already uninstalled 3 times everything via control program and
cleared with ccleaner. Also folder names deleted. after reinstalling no
solution.
My daughter and myself really appreciate your support.

Try copying the scarddlg.dll as suggested.

itunes problems

ok I tried the scardsvr reinstall and came up with the message

'scardsvr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

then nothing also when I goto run the type in cmd it puts me in the directory of

documents and settings/ckplum not sure if that makes any diffrence or if i need to change it

I also tried the itunes 7.4 and it gives me

Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close and asks if I want to send in an error report or not

so still can't get itunes to work any solutions would be very helpful...or if there is a way to copy the scarddlg.dll file directly from the xp disc I have please let me know how to do that

Thanks
