I think an update messed my printer program

A few weeks ago, I downloaded a Windows Update, {legit one}, that mentioned
a driver update. I realized about a week later that when I opened preference
boxes when in my Epson C60 printer, that these preference boxes were
changed. The box is the same size, but the contents are much larger. Since I
can't resize these boxes, I cannot view critical info. It's like I am seeing
the top left quarter of the box contents and nothing else. I can't see the
color cartridge, or the box to check for print preview, etc. The download is
not listed in Add/Remove.

Think of this page of text, and imagine that you could only see the top left
quarter of it. That's how the boxes are. This was not easy to explain. I
hope you get the idea.

When I check in the Update History, none of the updates mention the driver,
so I don't know which one. Could be KB828026, KB810217, KB832383, KB822603,
820291, or, 814995.

Based on your description, it probably wasn't one of the "Windows Updates" but
rather one of Microsoft's "recommended" driver updates. From what I've seen,
it's almost always a bad idea to install driver updates from Windows Update.
First of all, you probably don't need to update most drivers, and if youdo,
you're most often better off going to the site of the device manufacturer and
getting the "real" latest driver.

All that being said, if you can't remember which driver you updated, try
"rolling back" your video driver. See

(Before you actually do the rollback, take a look at the date of the existing
driver -- this may help you remember if it was in fact the one you changed.)

Alternatively, if you have System Restore active, you can try to restore to a
point earlier than "a few weeks ago." Unfortunately, this may undo changes that
you'd rather not undo -- so try the driver rollback first.
