i still cant open program

thanks for the help i have tried some suggetions and i still cant open my add
remove program did a scan and there are several errors dont know why this
happened but i cant fix it without help.the computer came with xp on it i
dont have a disc ive had the comp. for 4 yrs any advice

Deb_vt, please keep to the original thread, so there is context. Otherwise
new posters won't know what has been suggested and tried, and so you go
around in circles. When replying to that thread indicate what you tried and
what happened, rather than a generic "it didn't work'.

If you can't find a previous post, search for it using Google Groups
Advanced Search. Search in this newsgroup,
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general on your name as author. Here's a link to
the Advanced Search.

Better yet, I suggest using a newsreader to access what is actually a Usenet
newsgroup. The web interface is awful and your issue is just one example
why. XP comes with Outlook Express. Here is a link on how to configure it
