I saw code to test for specific browser (ie7) in a post

I copied the code out of a blue box for later use - now find I need more
information. I beleive it was on this forum. In any case, I need to use some
code for ie6 only and would like to use that code only if the viewer is using
ie6. It causes an error when using with ie7.

Don't do it that way (at least the way I *imagine* you are doing it). Use
an IE6 conditional comment instead - google that term....
