Thanks will check that out.
It happened with Access 2000 and Access XP.
Also MS Jet Engine with not let me import .dbf files with file names creater
than 8 characters.

Still no good.
Reinstalling Access 6 times does not work.
Completely uninstalling and reinstalling (all of office) does not work.

Yes, that's a limitation, imposed by ODBC, I believe.
