I reset profiles, but still have to retype addresses in Outlook

When sending new msgs to a previous addressee, I have to retype the whole
address. This group previously said to reenter my profiles. I did and it
seemed to work, but only during a single session. When I close and re-open
Outlook, they are lost.
Other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Your post is not clear. State your Outlook version and the method by which
you are selecting recipients.
Are you trying to say that autocompletion is not working for you?

I have 2002(XP), and yes, auto completion does not work except during one
session. Sorry I wasn't clear, and thanks for the help.

Then the problem is probably in how you "reset" the profile. I don't know
what that means. What you need to do is create a new profile from scratch
with a new, unique name.
