I push send and nothing happens?

I run outlook 07 on a windows Acer Ferrari 5000.

On occassions if i change an existing outlook template or simply change or
add things to an existing email i wish to forward i run into problems.

Once the email is ready to send i push send. It is in the correct account
and it is not oversize.

Once pushed, the send button changes colour to indicate it has been
activated but nothing happens. The email is still infront of me on my laptop.
It is not sent to the outbox or is added to the sent items, it just refuses
to send. No matter how many times i push send nothing happens, this includes
no noise to indicate i am doing something wrong or pop up box telling me i
doing something wrong.

To send it i have to C&P the text body, re-attached the original attachments
and then push send, and hey presto the email is sent as it should the first
time.

This is VERY annoying and would love some help.

Can you reproduce this in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
(note the space in the command)

Which exact method are you using to edit the "template"?
If this message template was attached to another message, then this behavior
is normal. Drag and drop the attachment to your Drafts folder and open it
from there.
