Yes, Word 2007 is sold as a standalone and there is an 'upgrade' package yo can buy. http://office.microsoft.com/suites and look at
the pricing link on the left for a listing of available standalone products as well as Office suites.

I have a Word 2003 license. I only need Word 2007 for a new computer. Any way
to get this from MS without buying office 2007?<<

It's possible to buy a standalone copy of Word without the rest of Office, but
it isn't usually the most cost-efficient way. You may find a copy of Office 2007
Home & Student edition for less than the price of Word alone. You can then use
the custom install choice and install only Word.
Why do you _need_ 2007? If you hang around this newsgroup for a while,
you'll see almost nothing but complaints about it. If 2003 does
everything you need, you should just put it on your new computer,
since you already have it.
