It had been a while since I worked in Ppt, and I tried to copy then paste a
..GIF page into a presentation. I got an unexpected error I/O, and it said
Powerpoint couldn't fix it.
What should I do?

Hello Lisa,
Have you tried to "Insert" the .gif (rather than copy/paste) ?

Try restarting your computer then repeat the operation.

If it still doesn't work, try opening the GIF in some other program (for
starters, just doubleclick the file - something will probably try to open it
automatically. If that also provokes an error, it could be the file's
corrupted.

If the file seems ok, try saving it to a new filename and import the new file
into PPT (at the same time, also save as PNG and try that in PPT as well.)
