I/O Error message

Big Bad John

I recently reinstalled W2K from CD. During the setup
process I get an error message like: I/O Error = 00000A00

The setup seems to go OK, but the message reappears when
W2K boots each time. Is this something I should fix, and
if so, how?

Thanks. Now having other problems with the install - some
missing drivers and the like. Probably is the CD.
