After reformating the hard drive, windows xp will not install. Error message;
windows can not install due to a I/O device error. How do I know what device
is causing the error?
Can anyone help?

While I tend to agree with Philo in his most likely culprit, you should also
understand what an I/O error message means regarding hardware. It could
mean anything in the I/O scheme of things including your RAM, hard drive bus
system, cpu interface, cpu.

CDOs are how we got here.
A modified version, new taxes in the future, is how Congress will get us
out?
