I NEED HELP!

I need help, I have no clue what POP3 Servers are for incoming mail. (in
reference to starting outlook on a new laptop, it ask which pop3 server im
using, What is this question refering to? Also for my outgoing SMTP, What
does that mean? What are mine? Im trying to use YAHOO. OR Gmail, Whichevers
better, Thanks

yahoo only allows access to pop3 for plus accounts.

It's referring to the incoming mail server.

That's the server used to send mail out.

What are mine?

Who provides your mail? they have the answer.

Im trying to use YAHOO.

Ah. Then the answer is that that won't work, at all, unless you pay Yahoo
for the premium service, or use a 3rd party utility like YPOP.

The question may be which is more appropriate for you. If people already
have your Yahoo address, that could be an influence.

the POP3 and SMTP3 have to be linked to your internet provider; if u don't
know, contact internet provider and they should walk u thru mail setup.

Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
