I am trying to update my clients for my program. However, my database says I
can't leave it NULL> I am trying to enter the next number.
It also says it is set to TRUE.
Enter a value in this field. ?????
Also, how do I reset this so it is not archived?

I have no idea what you are trying to do.
I suggest stating your question more clearly and give the exact text of any
error message which occurs.

Sounds like you're dealing with Access and not Excel.

Generally when you get into a situation where you are faced with some field
that is NULL and it is not permitted to be, you can close the forms down and
it will tell you that the record cannot be 'saved' or 'updated' to which you
happily reply [OK]!! and no change will have been made. Then you're going to
have to figure out exactly what's screwed up in the table/field definitions
causing the problem in the first place.

Oops, my bad - I clicked wrong button and ended up in Access rather than
elsewhere, at least I was right about you being involved with Access rather
than Excel. Same advice holds.
