I am trying to get a handle on the overwhelming array of tools and inserts
that I am constantly purchasing for our manufacturing needs. Does someone
know of a good database that would help me keep track of inventory and usage?

Access is a database and it should be able to do what you want, but you
have to construct the application for your specific needs. I don't know of
a pre-made application that would likely fit your needs.

Do you have Microsoft Access available? How much do you know about it?
