I love Windows Mail.

I've been a fan of Outlook Express ever since I first used it, principally
as it was fast and unencumbered with many of the Outlook features I didn't
need.

The only thing I didn't like about OE was compacting the message store which
took 10 minutes or more and if it was interrupted messages were corrupted.

With Windows Mail the compacting is very rapid.

Windows Live Mail is ok, but it takes up too much screen space for a non
widescreen with the search panel.

I take back the comment about the screen space. I've just downloaded the
latest version of WLM & when the search screen is removed the screen space
is now available.

Just remove the search panel and use only when required. It's lovely to have
all the hotmail accounts back again.
