i lost my key code for installation,how do i get one?

i lost my original jewel case for my office 97 during a recent move to new
house. i recently purchased a new laptop PC and was installing Office 97 and
there i was stuck at Key Code. i dont have one to put in. can anyone help me?
i really need this for my work. i am a real estate agent.
 
There are lots of olc copies of Office 97 Pro available from sources
such as eBay and UsedSoftware.

Perhaps you can get it from the old computer? Unless you've registered it, I
doubt whether Microsoft can do you any good. If it's an OEM copy, they won't
try. I suggest that you:

1. Try and retrieve it from the old machine
2. Try the original source of that machine
3. Try Microsoft
4. Buy another copy from a legacy software company
