I Lost all of My Documents !?

I recently bought a new computer with Windows XP
Professional installed. My account name was Administrator
and I customized everything to my liking for that
account. I made My Documents private, and uploaded TONS
of files from my old computer into My Documents. This is
including Music from CD's, Pictures, Text Documents, etc.
Then I created a User Account for my college roomate
because I know he's going to want to use it. When I
created his account I was no longer able to access any of
my files, yet alone the Administrator user name. I then
tried deleting his account to re-access mine but it said
I needed a Computer Administrator to delete another CA.
If there's no way to get my Administrator name back up to
use, is there at least a way I can regain all those files
into another user's My Documents? Or at least make them
shareable? I don't mind re-customizing all my
appearance/settings and everything; I just want all those
files back! I don't have Windows registered yet because I
have not moved into my dorm yet. I just wanted to
transfer all my files from my old PC to the new one
before hooking it up to the internet, plus I still have
like 25 days or so to register it. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The hidden administrator account is not to be used as a daily account. When
a user account is created it becomes hidden from the welcome screen cause it
isn't supposed to be used as a user account. You should have created a user
for yourself when setting up xp. It now does not show cause you created
another user. You should create a user for yourself and use that instead. To
access the hidden admin account and transfer your files over to the new
user, either: 1- boot to safe mode, the account will show on welcome screen,
2 - use tweakui for xp to display the hidden admin account on the welcome
screen, 3 - hit ctrl-alt-del twice while at the welcome screen, logon box
pops up, put in administrator for user and the password. Once in the hidden
admin account copy your personal docs to the user you created for yourself.

Firstly, NEVER EVER use the in-built Administrator Account for day to
day use. Create a User Account for yourself and give it Admin rights.
One of the main reasons for doing this is, if your user account goes
belly-up you can repair it using the Administrator Account. If the
Administrator Account goes belly-up, the ONLY way of repairing it is to
do a Repair install of Windows XP.

Secondly, the Administrator Account becomes hidden by default when you
create a user. At the Welcome Screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice and you
will get the old W2K-style log in box where you can type in the account
name and password.

I certainly hope that at least one of your college professors teaches
you how to write paragraphs rather than overly-long run-on
conglomerations of sentences.

I'm serious: It's rather difficult to read a message such as yours
on-line, due to the lack of breaks for paragraphs.
